From lived-in to designed

These two had been living in this home for years, gradually trying to make it feel more like theirs with whatever they had available at the time. Now they were ready for something more considered: a renovation with a clear vision, one that would make them genuinely proud of every corner.
They wanted a contemporary feel, enriched by retro touches that could honour the history of the apartment, and they didn't want to navigate it alone. The project starts here: from the need for clarity, coherence and a plan that actually holds together.
The black kitchen became the anchor point, the design constraint from which every other space had to take its cue. Wallpapers in the living room on the TV wall, in the bathrooms and in the bedroom build rhythm and personality throughout, while the green sofa steps forward as the statement piece of the living area. Carefully considered lighting runs through every space, bringing out the volumes and ensuring visual comfort at any hour of the day.
A project that bridges past and present, turning a long-lived-in home into a space that finally feels complete, recognisable and entirely theirs.
