Character and Depth

She'd already renovated her home, but she didn't quite recognise herself in it.
The entrance to the living room, the hallway before the kitchen and the staircase weren't working for her: functionality was missing, but above all, so was identity.
We started from what was already there, enhancing it and completing it with choices that could finally tell her story. The sofa shifts in character thanks to a warm olive green that wraps and grounds the room, while a new orange wall alongside the existing shelving unit brings energy and personality to the space.
On the staircase walls and the wall behind, the posters play off each other in a game of perspective, depth and layers: at first glance they read as one single dramatic composition. The staircase itself is rethought functionally too, with a black tubular handrail that sharpens its lines and improves everyday use.
These spaces are now fully lived in: versatile, functional, able to hold both quiet moments and social ones, and above all, able to make her feel truly at home.
