The apartment already had its own personality: an open-plan living area on the lower floor, sleeping quarters above, with a staircase connecting the two levels that immediately and inevitably became the visual heart of the project.

His brief was clear: flexibility without sacrificing style. So we moved away from the classic fixed corner sofa and opted for modular pieces that could adapt to whatever the moment called for.
