Rome, reinterpreted

You can't live in Rome without letting Rome live in you.
This family, who chose the city as their second home, understood that before the project even began: they wanted every corner of the apartment to carry the spirit of the historic neighborhood it sits in, but spoken in a contemporary language.

No literal references, no postcard Rome. Something more subtle, more personal.
Instead, a thoughtful dialogue between past and present: some of the historic furnishings already in the apartment were kept and given new purpose, placed alongside carefully chosen contemporary pieces that speak to who this family is today.

The true protagonist of the project is the floor. We designed a custom pattern using cement tiles, playing with earthy tones to create an original motif that redefines the entire space. It sets the rhythm, the warmth, the identity of the whole apartment and the furniture arranged around it falls naturally into place, becoming a continuation of that stunning design.

A project that doesn't imitate history. It reinterprets it. With respect, and with vision.
